so i was supposed to upload this website like 4 months ago i think... well now you get 2 blog posts for the price of 1 (they're free but you can pretend to give me money if you want). basically i've been really busy with life stuff but i won't get into that because that's going to be boring, instead i want to talk about Severance because i watched both seasons over the span of 2 days and i need more of it!!! there will be spoilers for Severance from this point on so do not read if you haven't watched it!!!
so i can't describe what makes this show so special to me, but it genuinely took control of my mind for like a solid week because i couldn't stop thinking about it. dylan was my favourite character in season 1, but i feel like milchick just stole the show in season 2 (not that i didn't enjoy dylan's simp arc this season). also i'm going to say this now but fuck innie mark for abandoning gemma like that, and helly is 100% going through natural reintegration in that scene because her smirk was crazy. i'm also glad we got a lot more Natalie in this season because she's just so subtely offputting and i love her for that. i was a bit disappointed that we didn't really get like any sort of reintegration drama with mark after a certain point, like i really did think they were going to do something big for it but by the last episode it really did feel like the innie v outie was the most different we had seen in the show that far.
something else new that i tried since i updated this site is that i played through animal well. i've said this to literally anyone who would listen but billy basso is a madman, like genuinely he is crazy for making this game as complex as it is. i've spent so long just looking at how all the different lights interact with stuff, like the backgrounds are 3D while also being 2D pixel art and it hurts my brain to even think about implementing that, and especially in his own custom engine... the game itself is exceptional, it's definitely going to be one of my top games of 2025 and if you haven't played it then you should do that right now!!! i won't even talk about it anymore because you should play it as blind as possible, it's such a good experience especially if you're like me and you like exploring every single thing you can.
anyways i don't really want to make this too long, i think my next blog post should hopefully just be a big deepdive into some sort of game (maybe infinity nikki because i've been enjoying that game a lot recently) but it should be posted a bit faster than this one was... maybe :P
