hi my name is ren and this is my silly little site :D. i don't have any crazy plans for this place, but i'll probably be posting about my hobbies and stuff eventually.
have a look around if you want, it's very much a work in progress though and very janky. this site originally started on neocities (very distant cousin to this site) but i really wanted to get a custom domain (mainly for cool bluesky url) and cloudflare had an easy way to host a static website so here we are.
this site originally started in chromium but i've transitioned to firefox and i think it still works, it's best viewed on a 1920x1080 screen since i haven't tested it anywhere else but i'm doing my best to get it all to work dynamically.

about me

i'm a 23 they/them that's currently just kind of existing after graduating from university.
my main interests are gaming and music, and rhythm games are my absolute favourite genre but i've played a lot of games outside of them too. in terms of music i kind of like a mix of everything, my favourite genres are definitely anything electronic, a bit of pop, a lot of k-pop, and basically anything that can get stuck in my head. i also really like watching films, and the occasional tv show/anime (for some reason i just find episodic stuff hard to keep watching but that's my problem). if you're interested in checking out what i like in detail then i'd recommend checking out my links page because i have a need to catalog everything i do.
apart from my main interests, i like a lot of technology stuff (i did gave dev in uni so mainly that and anything programming related), i really like computers and atm i'm using debian on my laptop so it's been fun messing around with that. i like art and basically anything that's a creative medium in general i guess??? i'm also trying to get back into reading but ngl i just put that off most of the time.
some random things i like are hatsune miku, cat memes, snooping in inspect element, collecting cool €2 coins, going down rabbitholes when i search things online, imagining detailed plotlines that i'll never do anything with, my dog coco, customising everything i can, probably other stuff i can't think of right now.
